The Dropping Of The A-Bomb

The A-Bomb which nearly wiped out majority or nearly all of Hiroshima. The cause of this historic time event is that Henri Becquerel a French scientist discovered that atoms contained immense stores of energy. So basically the atomic bomb is a weapon with over powering force of atomic energy through the fission of heavy nuclei. This massive weapon was first produced at the Los Alamos, N.Mex. , laboratory, and successfully tested on July, 16 1945. Also another weird, but true fact is that students actually designed atomic bombs. The atomic bomb also know as the atom bomb is a bomb that derives it's destructive power from the rapid release of nuclear energy by fission of heavy atomic nuclei, causing damage through heat, blast, and radioactivity. In such a bomb two pieces of a fissile material are brought together by a conventional exposion to form a super critical mass. Neutrons then cause an uncontrolled fission change reaction that quickly releases large amounts of energy. The attack which led to the dropping of the atomic bomb took place at Hiroshima August, 6 1945 at 8:15. Hiroshima consisted of 300,000 people who were killed from the powerful blast, heat, and radiation. Now the city of Nagasaki was bomb also by a bomb that was forty percent greater in strength. The outcome of bombing Nagasaki was due to the clouds which covered there first intended site. So furthermore they traveled to another site that was cleared for bombing. So now as the aircraft was trying to get to the second target there was the same problem where the clouds covered the city. Meanwhile while looking for Nagasaki the pilot saw the cities stadium which led to the bombing of Nagasaki.
